Hunting in Blaine County
HUNTING IN BLAINE COUNTY

Hunting, sport shooting, and responsible firearm ownership are proud traditions in Blaine County — and the BCSO stands firmly behind every law-abiding gun owner in this community.

Even our Mayor is known to take to the open land with his sidearm. Blaine County is God's country, and the people who live here know how to take care of themselves and their neighbors.

As a BCSO deputy, you'll serve a community that deeply values self-reliance, the right to bear arms, and the traditions that have made this county what it is. That's not just a job description — it's a way of life.

"You can't protect the people unless you understand them. Out here in Blaine County, that means knowing your way around a firearm and respecting the land."
Sheriff Dusty Hargrove
